Medicijnman #1

Michiel van de Pol launches Medicijnman with this charming 2005 Dutch album, subtitled "Een wolk op pootjes" — a cloud on little legs. The cover, drawn entirely by van de Pol, sets a wonderfully offbeat tone: a fluffy, grinning creature emerges from a glowing open refrigerator door, while a bemused adult, a scruffy small kid, and a tiny figure look on with varying degrees of concern.
