Volume 2 of Hajime Komoto's Mashle finds blue-haired protagonist Mash Burnedead poised confidently in what appears to be a grand magical library, wand in hand and school cape draped over his sharp uniform. Published by Shueisha under the Jump Comics imprint, this manga drops its musclebound hero right into the heart of a wizarding world that clearly has no idea what's coming for it. If the composed, almost bored expression on Mash's face is any indication, the challenges ahead don't stand much of a chance.
