Mary Shelley Monster Hunter #1
"Strange New Bedfellows" kicks off Mary Shelley Monster Hunter #1 with a chilling twist on a classic literary journey. As Mary Shelley and her companions take refuge at the unsettling Castle Frankenstein, a sudden scream pulls her into a mystery she can’t ignore—just as they begin a macabre game of writing horror stories to pass the time. With art and inks by Hayden Sherman and colors by the same, the eerie atmosphere is as sharp as the story’s spine-tingling premise.

Mary Shelley and her traveling companions are enjoying a European excursion when an accidental death forces a change in plans. The party is invited to stay at Castle Frankenstein but they gradually find the accommodations to be unnerving for various reasons. To amuse themselves, they devise a literary challenge, each of them to write a horror story and the others to judge the best. As they discuss their plan, a terrible scream distracts them and Mary insists on discovering the source by herself, not imagining the horror she will find.
