Marvelserien #8
"En Superhjältes Födelse" marks a pivotal moment in the early Marvelserien run, featuring a rare collaboration between Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Bill Everett on interior art. In this 1967 issue, the Hulk is dragged into the subterranean realm of Tyrannus, where the aged ruler pleads for help reclaiming the Fountain of Youth from the Mole Man—only to reveal he’s holding Rick, Betty, and Glenn hostage. With the Mole Man’s Octo-Sapien robot on the attack, the Hulk’s rage is unleashed, leading to a dramatic transformation that brings Bruce Banner back to the surface. The cover by John Romita captures the chaos in bold, dynamic lines.
In "En Superhjältes Födelse," John Jameson returns from a space mission altered by mysterious spores, awakening newfound super strength. When Spider-Man is falsely accused of a bank robbery, Jameson, driven by a mix of justice and personal conviction, takes it upon himself to track down the web-slinger using his powers.
In "Det Otroliga Monstret [del 2 av 3]," the Hulk is dragged into the hidden realm of Tyrannus, a once-powerful ruler now weakened by age and exile. With the Mole Man holding Rick, Betty, and Glenn captive, Tyrannus offers a desperate alliance—though the Hulk’s rage flares at the mention of Banner, his humanity hanging by a thread. The fight escalates when the Mole Man unleashes his fearsome Octo-Sapien robot, leading to a clash that ends with the Hulk plunging into the Fountain of Youth, transforming him once more into Bruce Banner.
