Marvel Universe Ultimate Spider-Man #12
In "Space Oddities," Spider-Man and White Tiger are deployed to the moon on a high-stakes rescue mission, only to stumble upon a surprise: Nova, who shouldn't be there at all. As they track down Power Man and Iron Fist, they're ambushed by a bizarre army of adorable alien guards led by the eccentric Dr. Rufus Siperstein, who has a far more dangerous plan than anyone expected. With Ty Templeton’s dynamic art bringing the cosmic chaos to life and a cover by the same hand, this 2013 Marvel adventure delivers a wild ride from the lunar surface to a high-tech prison, all written by Joe Caramagna.

Spider-Man and White Tiger are sent to the moon by Director Fury to save Power Man and Iron Fist. They run into Nova, who isn't supposed to know they are there. They find the hideout of Dr. Rufus Siperstein, who is using cute little aliens as guards. The aliens capture them. They are taken to where Power Man and Iron Fist are being held. Siperstein is going to destroy the world because humans are wasting its natural resources. He uses Nova to power the Deadly Ray Gun of Death, but Nova overpowers it, blowing it up. Nova's punishment from Fury is to clean the transport.
