“The Coming of the Kangaroo!”

In "The Coming of the Kangaroo!" from Marvel Tales #62 (1975), Peter Parker’s quiet evening takes a wild turn when Aunt May, worried he’s ill, puts him to bed. But Peter’s rest is short-lived—after the Kangaroo escapes federal agents and accidentally steals a vial of deadly bacteria, Peter sneaks out to stop him, only to return and find Aunt May collapsed upon discovering the web-suit dummy he left behind. Written by Stan Lee and illustrated with dynamic energy by John Buscema, with inks by Jim Mooney and letters by Artie Simek, this gripping tale captures Peter’s growing burden as he faces consequences he never expected. The cover, by John Romita, perfectly captures the moment’s tension.
