“Terror in a Tiny Town”

In "Terror in a Tiny Town," Bruce Banner finds himself caught between scientific ambition and personal turmoil as he pushes forward with his research on the Hulk, even as the Hulkbusters' training efforts unravel. When Doc Samson's accident turns their robot into a weapon against them, the resulting chaos forces a reckoning—both in the field and in the heart, where Betty's decision to marry Bruce adds weight to the storm brewing around them. Written and drawn by John Byrne, with inks by Keith Williams and colors by Andy Yanchus, the issue's cover by Byrne captures the tension with sharp, dramatic flair.

Bruce continues to study the Hulk to try and figure out a way to bring him down. Doc Samson accidentally destroys the Hulk Robot the Hulkbusters are using for training so they attack him instead. One of the Busters is killed in the conflict and, rather than take responsibility, Samson warns them to stay out of his way. Betty agrees to marry Bruce.
