Marvel's Mightiest Heroes #130
In "Venom," young Eddie Brock navigates the awkward terrain of high school with a mix of ambition and deception, crafting a persona that’s more heroic than his actions might suggest. As he dreams of a future in journalism, his knack for spotting lies and his growing desire for recognition set the stage for a pivotal moment—one that blurs the line between truth and self-mythmaking. Written by Zeb Wells and illustrated by Angel Medina, with inks by Scott Hanna and vibrant colors by Avalon and Matt Milla, this issue captures a formative chapter in a story that would later define a legend, all rendered with a sharp eye for character and atmosphere. The cover by Angel Medina and Scott Hanna perfectly frames Eddie’s early, unsteady steps toward becoming someone more than he seems.
