Marvel Feature #5
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA torrential rainstorm sets the stage for this July 1976 issue of Marvel Feature, as Red Sonja — flame-haired, sword raised, her chainmail gleaming — faces down a massive, snarling Bear-God whose claws and fangs fill nearly half the cover in genuinely unsettling fashion. The tagline "The Bear God Stalks the Night!" says it all: this is savage sword-and-sorcery at its most atmospheric, with cover art by Frank Thorne and John Romita striking a perfect balance between ferocity and pulpy grandeur. Frank Thorne also handles writing, inking, and lettering duties inside, making this a remarkably personal entry in Sonja's early solo run.
