Marvel Comics Super Special #4

Marvel's 1978 Super Special dedicates an entire full-color magazine to "The Story of the Beatles," billed right on the cover as "The Ultimate Unauthorized Beatles Book." The cover — penciled and inked by Tom Palmer and George Pérez — captures all four Beatles in their early matching suits, performing on a spotlit stage with a Ludwig kick drum front and center, while portrait medallions of each member float in the surrounding swirl of fans, psychedelic imagery, and Beatlemania energy.
