“The Dreaded Diablo!”

In "The Dreaded Diablo!", Stephen Strange finds himself pursued across the far East by Mordo and his growing army of minions, unaware that Mordo's newfound strength stems from the dark realm of Dormammu. With Mordo tightening his grip and the mysterious Wraiths closing in, Strange must use every trick in his arsenal—ranging from misdirection to ancient magic—to vanish before he’s captured. Written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, with art and inks by Ditko, this classic tale blends supernatural suspense with the kind of cunning survival that defines the Sorcerer Supreme. The cover, by Jack Kirby and Chic Stone, captures the tension with a striking, otherworldly presence.
