Bruce Banner hires Jamie Madrox to track down an old scientist friend who has a lab with gamma equipment. As Bruce and Rick prepare to use the gamma ray emitter to cure Banner of his Hulk problem, Multiple Man interferes and the Hulk gains the power of duplication. Now, with a horde of Hulks running amok in the streets of New York, the Hulk duplicate with Banner's intellect tries to devise a way to pull all of the multiple Hulks back into one body.
