Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four #5

From the looks of this 2005 all-ages adventure, the Fantastic Four have stumbled into some serious prehistoric trouble — a massive dinosaur head looms overhead while Mr. Fantastic stretches skyward, the Thing stands firm, the Human Torch blazes nearby, and Sue Storm crouches curiously beside a small green dinosaur in what appears to be a park setting. Juan Santacruz's cover does a great job capturing the team's wonderfully mismatched reactions — ranging from alarm to fascination — against a backdrop that suggests a very unexpected day in the city. "Shortcut" promises the kind of imaginative, accessible fun that makes the Marvel Adventures line such a fine entry point for readers of any age.
