Mars Attacks #10

The cover of this IDW series entry says it all — a massive Martian skull-face looms over a devastated cityscape, its grotesque clenched fists clutching struggling human victims while blood drips below, as flying saucers darken the smoky sky above. At the bottom corners, a trench-coated gunman and a snarling dog-like creature suggest that not everyone has given up the fight. John McCrea's cover art delivers that perfect blend of B-movie dread and pulpy energy that makes this 2013 IDW series such a treat.
