Marine War Heroes #18

An anthology issue featuring multiple war stories. The first story depicts a lone Marine soldier fighting enemy forces while under heavy artillery bombardment, struggling to survive as shells rain down around him. A second story follows Ringding Baker, an airborne pilot who returns to his aircraft carrier after a bombing run, arriving just in time to help defend the ship against enemy attack by destroying enemy tanks on the beach. A third story features a wounded Marine named Kallen who becomes separated from his unit and must evade enemy forces in the jungle while trying to rejoin his company, encountering an enemy MIG plane overhead and fearing capture by enemy soldiers.
