Marilyn #30 July 1960
In "One Alone," Flora’s quiet courage is tested when she ventures into the moors barefoot, drawn by worry after Stirling and Tam set out to confront poachers. With the heather thick and the silence broken only by a sudden gunshot, the story unfolds in tense, haunting stillness—where every step forward carries the weight of what might come next. Written by Peter O'Donnell and illustrated by Dudley Wynn, this poignant tale captures a moment of raw vulnerability, with Wynn’s expressive art bringing the landscape and emotion to life.
