Marilyn #23 January 1960
In "Sheba's Treasure," Maureen finds herself stranded with no money and nowhere to stay, collapsing in an art gallery after a long night on the streets. Taken in by a kind attendant who lets her slip out a side door, her relief is short-lived—she collapses just beyond the threshold, leaving the man to face the consequences of his kindness. Penciled and inked with delicate precision by José García Pizarro, this poignant moment in a 1960 British comic captures a quiet, human moment amid hardship.
