Sir Brian sends a message that he won't need his car at the airport, but instead wants to be picked up at his country house at eight-thirty. That gives Tom time to finish the repairs on the car that had been damaged when Vera drove it into a lamppost. But Vera gets an ominous message when she arrives at the office in the morning.
