Cindy has been told a "magic" word which is supposed to make any man fall in love with her and she wants to use it on a famous film actor. After accidentally whispering it Greg's agent, she finally gets a chance to whisper it to Greg. Greg becomes irate and tells he won't be bull-dozed into love. Then at a reception for Stella Delano, he announces his engagement to the actress. It appears the word hasn't worked, but later that night Greg shows up at Cindy's boarding house and kisses her. He both loves and hates her and begs to be set free from her magic.
