Marie-Lune #5

The fifth volume of this charming French series finds pink-haired Marie-Lune wide-eyed and overwhelmed, her hands outstretched as a swirling vortex seems to pull the world around her into delightful chaos — tiny figures, a startled friend, and whimsical fairy-like characters all caught up in the magical mayhem. The subtitle Help ! J'ai la tête à l'envers ("Help! My head is spinning") perfectly captures the dizzy, expressive energy that writers Douyé and artist Yllya bring to this 2012 Vents d'Ouest release. Fans of lighthearted European all-ages comics will find this an appealing, wonderfully off-kilter addition to the series.
