The cover of Marian Heretic #2 sets an immediately unsettling tone: a nun in white robes recoils in terror, arms outstretched, as roiling flames surround her — and looming large above it all is a smirking, feline-featured figure with glowing yellow eyes and dark flowing hair, radiating menace. Joe Jaro's linework gives both figures a striking presence, with Walter Baiamonte's fiery orange palette making the whole composition feel like it's burning off the page. BOOM! Studios' 2025 series is shaping up to be a beautifully rendered descent into sacred dread.
