Manifest Eternity #6

Dustin Nguyen's cover for this January 2007 WildStorm series places a lone young girl — dressed in a simple blue top and red skirt — at the unsettling center of a writhing mass of alien creatures, tentacles, teeth, and bizarre organic forms that press in from every direction. A helmeted figure looms in the upper left while a massive, grinning maw dominates the right, giving the whole image a nightmarish, almost fairy-tale quality. Scott Lobdell and Nguyen's Manifest Eternity wraps up its sixth issue with a cover that makes the cosmos feel genuinely strange and a little dangerous.
