Manifest Destiny #40 from Image/Skybound delivers another unsettling reminder that the American frontier hides far worse things than history recorded. Matthew Roberts' cover depicts a pack of large, rabbit-like creatures with glowing red eyes gathered beneath a pale crescent moon, their hulking forms lurking among dark foliage, rocks, and bare branches in a scene that feels equal parts eerie and feral.
