Scotland Yard hunts "The Little Man Who Wasn't There," a criminal mastermind who has stolen the Emerald's King's Ransom jewels and uses blackmail and a deadly serum to control his victims. The story follows a female spy operative who is seduced and drugged by the villain, then forced to work undercover while being threatened with a lethal injection. She manages to escape and pass along a vital pin containing critical information to an American agent, ultimately helping to dismantle the villain's European undercover system.
