Man without Fear #2

The starkly minimalist cover by Kyle Hotz says everything without showing anything — a dark silhouette of Daredevil's horned mask sits slumped against a brick wall, surrounded by a spreading pool of crimson, with a broken billy club lying discarded in the blood. It's a haunting, almost wordless image that captures a hero at his lowest, and Hotz's restraint makes it all the more unsettling. Writer Jed MacKay and artist Stefano Landini continue what is shaping up to be one of Marvel's more quietly intense 2019 reads.
