From the Atlas Comics era of 1953, this issue of Man Comics plunges readers straight into the chaos of close-quarters combat. Fred Kida's cover depicts two soldiers locked in a desperate, knife-and-bayonet struggle at the center of the action, while enemy fighters close in from the left and another soldier engages at right amid bursts of flame and smoke. Promising "Dangerous Battles… Breathless Suspense!" and a story titled "Fire at Will!", the issue also features interior art by Gene Colan with colors by Stan Goldberg — a fine creative team delivering wartime drama at its ten-cent best.
