“The Great Magilla - Yogi Debate”

In "The Great Magilla - Yogi Debate," the jungle's most famous gorilla and his bear rival go head-to-head in a wacky presidential race, joined by the Elephant and Donkey as symbolic candidates. With Top Cat and Huckleberry Hound pulling strings behind the scenes, the campaign takes a wild turn when a space rocket intended to settle the election sends Yogi and Magilla drifting off to the moon—leaving the outcome very much up in the air. Penciled and inked by Pete Alvarado, this 1964 Western Comics classic features the full artwork by Alvarado on both the interior and cover.
