The sixth volume of Soleil's Mages series arrives with a striking cover by Giovanni Lorusso, depicting a towering armored figure — cloak billowing, rune-etched sword in hand — standing sentinel beside a determined young warrior and a powerful white dog, all set against a sweeping fantasy cityscape of domes and rooftops. The chapter is titled "Yoni," and the pairing of these two very different figures hints at an alliance between worlds apart in size, age, and perhaps power. Writers Didier Courtois and Nicolas Jarry, alongside artists Alex Sierra and Giovanni Lorusso with colors by Élodie Jacquemoire, continue to build what is shaping up to be one of French fantasy comics' most visually ambitious series.
