M.O.D.O.K.: Head Games #4

M.O.D.O.K. looms enormous in his signature hover-chair, cannon blazing, as he clashes mid-air above a quiet suburban neighborhood with what appears to be another oversized-head villain — papers and debris flying in every direction. Cully Hamner's bird's-eye cover composition brilliantly contrasts the mundane cul-de-sac below with the utterly unhinged spectacle unfolding above it. Writers Jordan Blum and Patton Oswalt, with artist Scott Hepburn and colorist Carlos Lopez, bring "Chapter 4: Prime Directive" to a head in this penultimate installment of one of Marvel's more gleefully offbeat 2021 miniseries.
