Lumberjanes #63

The Lumberjanes face some seriously wild odds in issue #63 of BOOM! Box's beloved series, and this Kat Leyh cover sets the chaotic, high-energy tone perfectly. Against a vivid yellow sky, a determined scout in armor charges forward wielding a shield while her curly-haired companion clings on, a furry creature leaps through the air hurling something overhead, and a fierce red-haired scout squares off in the foreground amid swirling clouds of color. With Watters and Leyh steering the story and AnneMarie Rogers and Maarta Laiho bringing the visuals to life inside, "The Fright Stuff" looks like exactly the kind of spirited adventure that has made this series a standout in 2019.
