Four Lumberjanes in life vests stare up — some in awe, some in alarm — at a massive, dripping sea creature whose serpentine coils and snapping claws dwarf them completely, with Kat Leyh's cover doing a wonderful job of selling the sheer scale of the encounter. It's the kind of image that captures everything wonderful about this BOOM! Box series: plucky scouts, impossible odds, and monsters that are genuinely big. "The Life of the Party" sounds like it could go in any number of delightful directions, and issue #59 makes a compelling case for diving in.
