Lumberjanes #38

The Lumberjanes are back in fine, chaotic form with issue #38 — and this cover by Kat Leyh says it all: a big, teetering pile of campers and adults huddles together in the forest, while a small, wild-looking creature crouches nearby wearing a wary, bemused expression. The contrast between the cheerful scramble of the group and that lone little figure across from them gives the whole scene a wonderfully off-kilter energy. Shannon Watters and Kat Leyh keep things lively in "Let's Be Prank," with art by Ayme Sotuyo and colors by Maarta Laiho bringing the pine-scented mischief vividly to life.
