The cover of this 2007 Egmont Ehapa edition says it all: the four Dalton brothers — stacked one atop another in their trademark black-and-yellow stripes — are caught together inside a hangman's noose, their faces etched with unmistakable dread. Lucky Luke himself looms large in the upper left, cool and composed as ever, surveying the scene with characteristic detachment. With art by Achdé and story by Laurent Gerra, Die Daltons in der Schlinge promises another sharp, entertaining chapter in this long-running Franco-Belgian western series.
