Ann meets soldier Ted at a USO dance and falls in love with him. However, Ted also dates Ann’s roommate Vickie. When he’s shipped overseas, Ted writes to Vickie but she’s not interested in him any more, so Ann replies but signs Vickie’s name. When Ted comes home on leave, he wonders why Vickie seems different. Vickie confesses the truth and Ted realises he loves Ann after all.
