Driving to Donminster to be a bridesmaid at Sara's wedding, Eileen's bad luck continues when another vehicle speeds past her, blowing her map into the river. Lost, she continues driving until she sees the speedster's car broken down up ahead. The stranger gives her directions and asks for a lift. They stop at a house and the stranger goes in to see if he can make a phone call. While he is inside, Eileen turns on the radio and hears that there is an escaped prisoner in a stolen car somewhere in the area and the stranger's car is the only car she has seen that morning.
