Living in the Canadian backwoods in 1759, Josie knew how to take care of herself. The British and French were locked in a deadly struggle and one of Josie's friends who was escorting a French prisoner was injured during an Indian attack. Because the prisoner has information that would be vital to the British general, her friend asks Josie to take the prisoner through the backwoods to Quebec.
