All Donna wanted was crackers and nuts, but when she hands the wrong list to the store clerk, the clerk becomes angry and refuses to serve her. The list had referenced Bill Figgins who had been the clerk's boyfriend a week earlier. When Donna tells Bill about the incident, it becomes obvious that Bill still has feelings for Rita and Donna's plans for Christmas are ruined.
