Stella falls for Keith, but his mother blatantly tries to bribe her to leave Keith alone. Keith asks Stella to joins him and some friends on a holiday to Switzerland. While the rest of the party goes on a tour, Stella wants to get in some practice skiing and is saved from a dangerous situation by Pete. When Mrs. Harbord brings Sonia to join them, Keith is immediately smitten with her, but Stella doesn't mind so much because she has Pete. Then she learns that Mrs. Harbord has paid Pete to make love to her.
