Tessa's little brother overhears her tell her boyfriend that she wouldn't mind a Beatle for Christmas. When Tessa opens her Christmas present from him, she discovers in horror that it is a beetle and throws it out the window. Walking outside the window at the time was a student of coleopterology - the study of beetles. Recognizing the beetle as a rare and valuable specimen, he rings to doorbell to inquire if there were any more.
