Josie is working the glove counter at Pynk and Pynk's when a customer makes an impossible request. Josie's quick wits resolve the sitation and a famous dress designer observes her tactful handling of the situation. He offers her a job as his personal assistant and he regularly relies on her quick thinking. But he fails to notice how she feels about him. To make matters worse for Josie, he announces his engagement to one of his most temperamental models and asks Josie to buy the ring for her and stand in for her wedding gown fitting because she has the same measurements.
