Lazing on a motor-launch, Mandy and her friend see a plane from a nearby airfield explode and a parachute drift down. When the test pilot regains consciousness, he tells Mandy he loves her and begs her not to leave, even though they have never met. In the hospital, he can't remember his parents or his fiancee, but insists he loves Mandy.
