Bill and Pat meet in London a year after breaking up in their hometown. They spend some time together and he drives her to the cliffs. They kiss there, but the kisses prove to both of them that their parting had not been a mistake as they had secretly feared. Pat reveals she is getting married. Bill greets his girlfriend at the train station, confident that the ghost of his relationship with Pat can never come between them now.
