Betty's job is to apply candied fruit on cakes at the end of the assembly line. The job is boring and she often dreams about romantic situations instead of paying attention to her work. Eventually, the foreman is forced to let her go. Regretting some of the things she said to the foreman, Betty decided to visit his home and apologize. At first he is too busy gardening to notice her and she realizes he is daydreaming about her.
