Although Ella is warned that her ice skating coach is a lady-killer, she can't help falling for him. She realizes that when he gets a chance to skate for the ice follies, he will probably leave her. It turns out that she is the first to get an offer to star in the follies, but she turns it down so she can stay with Nat. However, when Nat finally gets his offer, he does not turn it down.
