Kelly, a junior partner in a firm of solicitors, is sent to Maruba to inform Steven that he has inherited a fortune from his godfather. Steven thinks of all the good he can do for the hospital there with the money. When they get back to London so he can sign the papers, they learn that a second will has been discovered, this one stipulating that Steven must get married within two months to claim the legacy. He asks Kelly to help him meet some girls who would like to live in Maruba, not realizing that Kelly feels she could be the right girl for him.
