After asking her to stay simple, Mary's fiance jilts her and weds someone else. Crushed when she discovers his bride is more glamorous, Mary decides to change her appearance. The hairdresser who changes Mary's hair offers her a job touring the continent to demonstrate his hair styling. Mary and the hairdresser begin to fall in love, but his assistant pays Mary's ex-fiance to help break up their romance.
