Helen is given Wednesday afternoon off, but has to wait for two hours for the next train to take her home to her husband. She meets a travelling salesman who is always there at that time and they spend a lovely time in a nearby garden. She thinks it is a one-time occurrence, but her boss tells her Wednesdays are quiet and continues to give her Wednesday afternoons off. She continues to see John in the garden. John and Helen tell each other they are just good friends, but Helen starts to realize they mean more to each other than that.
