Candy's father had left her a small ranch in the mountains of Santana in South America. Most of the livestock had gone to pay debts, but she still lived there alone until a group of men came riding her way. They request some bran-mash for their horses and water for themselves. But when she recognizes the leader as El Bandido, she is forced to accompany them even though she is in sympathy with their cause. She escapes with the help of her horse, Snowy, but the government soldiers come to her house with an American informant who had been traveling with Ramon's men.
