April had come to Ceylon to forget how Dr. Roy Walters had chosen another girl to be his wife in England. But when a new patient in the emergency ward calls out in his delirium, his words remind April of Roy. The patient has a bad reputation because he had been driving when his former fiancée was crippled and sent to England. April realizes that his former fiancée is the same girl who was cured by Roy, who then married her instead of April. Peter wants to be an artist and asks April to pose for him. April finds herself falling in love with Peter.
