Love Romances #6
In "My Stolen Love!", middle-class Ruth is sent to the elite Mt. Ivy College, where her envy of wealthy classmate Janet fuels a rift in her relationship with Bob—whom she initially rejects for being poor. When financial hardship forces Ruth to leave school, she tries to break up Janet and Bob, only to find herself trapped in the very middle-class life she once despised. Kenneth Rice’s art brings the emotional tension to life, with inker Christopher Rule adding depth to every moment, as Ruth’s choices lead to a reunion that tests the bonds of love and regret.

Middle-class Ruth’s parents send her to “exclusive” Mt. Ivy College, where she makes friends with wealthy Janet but envies her life-style. Ruth rejects Bob because he isn’t rich, and he dates Janet. Forced to leave school for financial reasons, Ruth decides to break up Janet and Bob’s romance. Janet steps aside and Ruth marries Bob, but finds herself “trapped…into the middle-class existence I abhorred!” Ruth’s bitterness causes Bob to leave her but when their son falls ill, Ruth and Bob are reunited.
